I am a researcher at the Centre for Research in Animal Behaviour at the University of Exeter. I am currently a Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellow, transitioning to lecturer in May 2023.

My research focuses on understanding the formation and consequences of social
structures and social behaviours in animals. My current work focuses on the social drivers of the evolution of menopause. I have studied these questions in several different species using a variety of techniques but especially social network analysis and demographic analyses.

More details of specific research topics can be found under the project headers above.
